Fort Tryon Kids: Nature Art Workshop – Bird Mobiles

Bring your children or grandchildren to this online workshop series! All workshops are for children ages 5-8 and are led by naturalist and author Leslie Day, and artist and teacher Jessica Maffia.

Study the birds that live in Fort Tryon Park year-round. Learn what they look like – their names, shapes, and colors, and why sometimes the male and female look different and sometimes they look the same! Find out what they eat and how they are able to stay here all winter. Find out why the birds are important to us and our park.
