Pine Lawn

On the Pine Lawn and nearby pathways, you’ll find a small arboretum of conifers, including varieties of Japanese white pine (Pinus parviflora “Brevifolia”), shortleaf pine (Pinus echinata), Himalayan pine (Pinus wallichiana), and native white pines (Pinus strobus), some of which are older than the park itself.

Take either the Billings Lawn steps or meander along the Pine Lawn route to the recently renovated southeast section of the park. Follow the Pine tree lined path underneath the Billings Arcade and walk to the end, where you will see more remnants of the C.K.G. Billings Estate.
