Bring a blanket and picnic supper to enjoy a screening of Mary Poppins on Fort Tryon’s Dongan Lawn, thanks to NYC Parks and The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment’s Movies Under the Stars series.
A stiff banker searches for a nanny for his two mischievous children in London in the early 1900s. After dismissing several unsuitable prospects, a young woman descends from the sky and manages to enlighten the lives of everyone she meets!
The movie is free and begins at dusk. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, the screening may be canceled.
