POSTPONED: MOVIE NIGHT “The Wizard of Oz”

The Fort Tryon Park Trust presents “Wonderful Wednesdays” in Fort Tryon Park! To kick off this 3-month program, we invite you to join us under the stars for a free screening of this classic film that’s magical for all ages! The movie will be introduced by a special guest who is a member of the park’s community and is a grandson of Margaret Hamilton, who played the Wicked Witch of the West! The movie begins at sundown (sunset is at 8:30 p.m.).

“Wonderful Wednesdays” take place on July 7, August 4, and September 1. Each night, we will be closing Fort Tryon Park’s roadways to cars from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. to give everyone more room! Pack a picnic supper, your scooter, sidewalk chalk, and a blanket, and get ready for some car-free summer fun!
