Unfortunately, this event has been canceled due to inclement weather and sensitive instruments. There are two concerts tomorrow, May 28, featuring the same musical program: Prospect Park Boathouse from 12-2 p.m. and CCNY’s Spitzer School of Architecture from 7-9 p.m. See @musicintheamericanwild and @nycparks for more info.

NYC Parks Arts, Culture, and Fun presents a free and open to the public event!

Join us in partnership with the Fort Tryon Park Trust for a chamber music concert, commemorating the 2022 bicentennial of the birth of Frederick Law Olmsted. In this concert, American Wild Ensemble, a septet of winds, strings, and percussion will perform eight new works inspired by Olmsted-designed parks including Brooklyn’s Prospect Park and Manhattan’s Fort Tryon Park.
