After 20 years of community stewardship, and no City Capital funding, our dog run needed critical repairs so it can continue to be a usable park asset. Thanks to $100k from the Fort Tryon Park Trust and community donations, a private contractor used heavy equipment to extract silt, replace fencing, and stabilize the slope. We had help from the amazing NYC Parks staff, too!
The run was closed for construction for a few weeks, to ensure the safety of park users and dogs – but is re-opening TODAY!
