The Fort Tryon Park Trust supports over 300 free public programs each year!

The park hosts monthly, yearly, and special programs, as well as fundraising events. Please join us for beautification days, fitness programs, monthly garden tours, and many other cultural and educational programs for all ages. We offer free nature and wildlife programs, art exhibitions, birding tours, Scandia Symphony concerts, the Higher Ground dance and performance festival, outdoor film screenings, an annual Battle of Fort Washington reenactment, and the annual Medieval Festival.

Stewardship Days along the Broadway side of the park take place on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month from April through November. Meet at the Broadway Greeting Garden at Fort Tryon Park’s Arden Street/Broadway entrance. Wear long pants, sturdy shoes, and your face mask and join the Fort Tryon Park Trust and NYC Parks to help care for Fort Tryon Park’s ecology! Activities will include some or all of the following: painting, planting preparations, planting, weeding, and more.…
