To remember the 20th anniversary of 9/11, the Fort Tryon Park Trust, the NYPD, FDNY, Northern Manhattan Parks, and Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance held a community event on Fort Tryon Park’s Cloisters Lawn. Approximately 150 members of our community came together to honor the lives of those lost and those who sacrificed with remembrances, music, a poetry reading, and an interactive memorial installation with artist Marta Blair.
